The Contractor Website Package
So what do I get for my $297
Register a domain name. We use GODADDY.com and it cost $10.19 for 1 year.
You get a custom 5 page Contractors Website. You choose the colors and general layout you want and we do the rest. We
do a keyword search on Keyword Elite a fast, reliable, proven, piece of software.
Then we build you a custom 5 page website, complete with FREE HOSTING for 6 months, (most customers pay just $10 per month
after that). You email us the text and any pictures to include, we run a spell check, insert a few keywords where appropriate and load your
site to the internet.
You get 50 mb of space and 1,000mb of bandwidth, unlimited email accounts and more. More than enough for most small and mid sized
contractors websites.
Of course there is a 100% Satisfaction Guarentee. If we can't build a site that meets our criteria and your
expexctations, you don't pay.
How will customers find my contractors website?
1. Search word optimization. We make the site friendly to the words your customers are looking for.
Google "plumber your hometown", or whatever you do, if you live in a big market the site that came up first probably cost
thousands of dollars and needs to be constantly maintained. That's the price you have to pay if you want show up on the first couple of
pages on just about anything in a major market.
But if you live in a smaller market search word optimization can get you listed on the first page. You can get
loads of customers who are looking for your service, in your market, for a very low cost.
2. Pay per click advertising. It's quick and easy to set up an account at the only 3 search engines that matter.
I read recently that Google is 2x bigger than Yahoo, Yahoo is 2x bigger than MSN and MSN is 2x bigger than everyone else combined.
I use pay per click (PPC) during my season and it works great. Last year when I was reducing the size of my
Yellow Page Ad, the Sales Rep asked if I was interested in PPC advertising. Of course I was eager to find out what he had. Boy was I
disappointed.
He offered to sell me a very important keyword for only $5 per click. I was buying the same keyword on Google for about a buck.
Turns out they buy from Google mark it up and resell it to you. Learn more about the right way to use Yellow Pages advertising in our
free report.
Don't worry, we will show you how to set up a PPC advertising program and make it work with almost no
effort.
3. Directory submission. We submit to 3 directories. Remember, google=2x yahoo=2x msn=2x everybody else. You can
submit to local directories and others as a way to build links and gain prominence, but the Big 3 will drive most of the search traffic.
4. Direct search. Probably the number one reason you need to have your business online
now. Believe me when you drop off an estimate to a new customer most are going to search your name right away. If you run "Mikes
Plumbing" in "most towns USA" and they search in any of the big 3, you better show up. If they have your web address and type it
in you need a effective pre-selling website to help get that customer.
This is by far the most cost effective advertising I have ever found! No website? You don't exist to millions of
people who want your product or service. You might as well be throwing dollars out he window.
Do you only do contractor websites?
No, we build sites for any type of small business. We just happen to have more experience in making a contractor website
perform.
What do your sites look like?
PerfectSealer.com is my company site. I've had it for several years but I
rebuilt it a while a go using the easy to follow XSITEPRO instructions and it performed
much better. This site was built by the same software.
There is a basic structure common on all sites, we follow that but allow you to customize it to your specific likes and
dislikes. As I said before fancy grahics and high tech gizmo's aren't what you need. Easy navigation, clean look, search
engine optimized, and effective function will make your website perform, and increase your business!
How did you get into building websites?
My business runs from May through October, depending on the weather. I was looking for something to keep the office busy during
the off season and this idea came up after a brainstorming session.
